Full Moon Pine Runes

Hewn from a single pine branch that served as home and nourishment for a wood beetle during its larval stage, this is a very special and one of a kind rune set.  The bark is still mostly intact (where it wasn't eaten away by beeltes) and creates a beautiful visual element to these special objects. 
 
Like all my handmade runes, this branch was selected using my intuition for its strong magickal properties, and each step of the creation process is filled with intention and magick.  The runes were set into the material on a Full Moon in March in an open altar space, and the runes themselves were cut the Full Moon prior.  They have been treated with a layer of coconut oil, and come with a small pouch (pictured) to store them in.
