October 2019 Monthly Forecast

Blessed be! Thank you and welcome to the October 2019 monthly forecast. Today I am working with my crystals, runes, and charms, as well as my tarot deck, and Brian Froud's Faeries deck. Please remember that this reading is for multiple people, and not all parts of it may resonate. Please take with you what does, and leave the rest!
For the first half of October, the only crystal present is jet. This is resting very far outside of the circles, meaning that the energies it represents are currently manifesting in the spirit realm. This is energy that is being created by the fact that we have been working to cleanse away negative energies in our physical reality. The more we remove, the more powerful, and closer, the conclusion (and reward) of this challenge becomes.
Hidden in the center circle is Perthro, and it is tilted on it's side. This reinforces that some sort of karmic energy is approaching us at this time, based on the cleansing and inner work we have been participating in. In the physical realms, Sowilo, the rune of success and potential, stands upright, waiting to provide us at least some measure of reward based on the effort we have put into bringing our dreams, goals, and thoughts into physical reality.
Mannaz rests in the center of the month in our spiritual circle, almost breaching into the realm of spirit itself. Our compassion and empathy for others may be tested at this time, or perhaps you will be asking for these things from others or of yourself for yourself, but this all pertains to our ultimate desires that we have been working towards. If you work on a craft or creative endeavor, Mannaz may be urging you to take the time to contemplate with spirit and your higher self in order to make the most of your energy, or how best to move forward to the next step.
The second half of the month brings us Ansuz, in the center circle, the only rune that revealed itself upon first casting. That it is upright means, to me, that the energies Ansuz represents will be greatly heightened, obvious, and incredibly important for the second half of October. Ansuz has also been present throughout September in many of my readings. It reminds us that we are divinely guided, and offers us signs and insight along our path, either through our intuition, or actual physical signs, such as animal guides, or numerology. In October, we will likely find that the greatest insight comes from within ourselves, rather than without. It is through following this inner vision that we allow the universe to create our abundance in the most efficient way.
Late in October, we seem to be finishing up the purification of our life's energies through the removal of toxic or negative sources that we were previously connected to. This will allow us to begin the long, important process of mending our souls, finding higher vibration, and replenishing our inner light. Hematite is radiating its beneficial, lucky energies from the realm of spirit to assist us, greatly improving our chances of, at long last, clearing the draining, negative energies we have been working away at for some time now.
The cards arrive to reaffirm the message of the crystals and runes. We are being guided by our intuition and divine feminine energies throughout October to see through a myriad of illusions that have held us back from our full potential. This may involve any number of things, from relationships, to jobs, to our own inner demons. For many of us, this has been a whole collective of overgrown shadows and mirages that have held us at bay for too long.
Whatever the illusion that is being cleared away, we are beginning to see every situation in our lives for what it truly is. We have examined the physical aspects of our life to determine which serve us, and which do not, and have allowed the universe to sort out the rest. For many, this has involved making difficult choices, without knowing exactly how those choices were going to ultimately work out for you in the long run. The choice has still been made, however, and we have set forward with the knowledge we have garnered in the past, paired with our intuition and spirit guides, believing the universe will bring us the best possible outcome.
There is a need to take a leap of faith, and to truly believe that the universe will catch us. Hesitation and worry over our finances or home life have been keeping us from truly letting our newfound truths open up the passageways to our abundance. We are too focused on the material aspect of our lives, and not paying enough heed to our emotional and spiritual needs by consequence. This is not balanced, and not healthy, either. It also prevents the mystical powers of the Moon of the Star to work together, bringing us the healing and prosperity we have been searching for.
It is time to go about this in a new way. Instead of focusing on the material world, maintain your energies on achieving our dreams, and bringing more passion and joy into our life. The I feel that the Hermit warns us that the Page of Wands is often reckless in his pursuit of more fun and a deeper connection to his higher self, and so taking the time to truly assuage and be sure of our choices is important at this time. With the energies of hematite, jet, and Perthro present, it is highly likely that we will achieve exactly what we leap for during October. The key is being sure that what we are leaping towards is true to our actual desires and highest selves. If we are not very careful what we are asking and working for, we may just get it.
The Master Maker has returned, his playful smirk revealing his skepticism in our current course of action, just as the Hermit has warned us. There is a need at this time, the Master Maker (who can "...make anything, perfectly, as a matter of fact, the very first time.") insists, to take a step back, and think ahead to the finished product. He sees something at this time we currently don't, likely one of the illusions we are stubbornly refusing to see through, as pointed out by the Moon, that is going to really ruin the overall potential of our current project. He asks us: What are you holding onto that could be let go of? What do you not even want to hold onto at all? Why are you still holding it at all, if you don't even want it in the first place? The Master Maker isn't sure why humans choose to become sentimental over things that cause them displeasure, but he does know that holding onto these inner and outer flaws can really ruin an otherwise incredible creation.
Overall, I feel that the cards are asking us to spend extra time now and throughout the month of October connecting to your higher self, and clearing away whatever prevents you from healing, and fearlessly following your truth. We should also pay close attention to what we are manifesting at this time, to be absolutely sure that those manifestations serve in our best interests. In addition to continuing our path to spiritual wholeness, we are asked to trust in the universe, and ourselves. We are supported by spirit as we move forward, but we must ultimately move forward at the end of the day, no matter the risk, if we are ever to reach our reward.
Closing the October forecast, five charms have been revealed, most of which were prevalent throughout September's readings! We are transforming, with the help of spirit, and regaining, or seizing for the first time, our inner power. Those of us who are currently seeking our inner power or inner union are likely to find themselves victorious, or at the very least, having progressed along their journey, during the month of October.
Hummingbird brings several messages. First, that we are capable of achieving whatever we desire, but we must first set off on the adventure to get there. It also speaks of the rapidly arriving manifestations that were suggested by jet and Sowilo earlier in the reading. Finally, tiny hummingbird reminds us to be brave and swift as we move towards our goals and dreams. We are well equipped to make the journey in gem-bright style. Butterfly, in addition to hummingbird, doubly remind us that it is only those who seek the sweetest flowers who find them. If we wish to achieve our transformation or ultimate goals, the only way is to step out of our own path, think about the next best step or procedure, and truly go for it.
All in all, October is a month for introspection and steady progress. If we have been preparing to take flight, so to speak, our time has come, but we should also triple check all our maps and tool kits to make sure that we are headed the right way, with the right things. Spirit are offering their advice and service to those who need it at this time, as well! Do not be afraid to seek higher guidance, or to move forward when you clearly see your higher path.
